Collaboration between Pharrell Williams and Moët & Chandon
“I’ve never been one to call trends, but maybe 2025 can be the year of the bow,” Pharrell tells T&C
Pharrel Williams— recording artist, producer, and current Creative Director for Louis Vuitton menswear
in 2025, Pharrell Williams and Moët & Chandon unveiled a new collaboration: the Moët & Chandon Pharrell Williams Limited Edition Collection. This collection reimagines birthday celebrations, emphasizing collective spirit, optimism, and human connection. Pharrell drew inspiration from Moët & Chandon's archives, notably the iconic bow design introduced in 1892, which he reinterpreted as an oversized fabric bow adorned with pearled beads, crafted by Parisian embroiderers Atelier Baqué Molinié.
“I was excited about the opportunity to create something that would bring people together and celebrate life's special moments—in particular, birthdays, which is a day everyone has in common,” Pharrell Williams
The collection comprises:
Limited Edition Bottles: Brut Impérial and Nectar Impérial Rosé bottles in gold, midnight blue, deep red, and white, featuring Pharrell's signature in pearl-like white dotted lettering and a pearled monogram of his initials, "PW."
The Bow Capsule: A 1.5-liter Magnum set including Grand Vintage Collection 2003 (black), Brut Impérial (midnight blue), and Nectar Impérial Rosé (white), each adorned with the detachable bow that can be worn as a brooch.
The Jewel Masterpiece: A 3-liter Jeroboam of Brut Impérial, limited to 30 numbered pieces. Each bottle is covered in mirrored chrome and features hand-lettering with 89 embossed relief pearls, complemented by a detachable jeweled bow made from 7,310 pearled beads, also wearable as a brooch.
This collaboration blends Moët & Chandon's rich heritage with Pharrell's innovative artistry, offering collectors and enthusiasts unique pieces to celebrate special moments.

Where did you turn for inspiration on the design?
We took a deep dive into the archives of Moët & Chandon and the bow motif from 1889 was particularly interesting because of what is stands for—generosity, joy, a gift. It felt like the perfect element to bring forward in this collaboration. The effervescence of the champagne also inspired the pearl motifs, evoking the bubbles.

We spent a lot of time exploring the archives, conceptualizing the design, and working closely together to bring the vision to life. Seeing the final product was incredibly fulfilling.
How would you describe your ethos as a designer?
Curious and constantly seeking new inspirations, while respecting the past, is key to my creative process.
Tell me more about the bow and detachable brooch.
The 1889 bow tie that Williams used as a reference
We discovered that in 1889 the traditional tie that identifies Moët & Chandon’s bottles was enhanced into a bow. Thinking about what this element represents, we brought it forward and created an oversized fabric bow covered in pearled beads. The bow is detachable and can be worn as a brooch, adding that extra touch of elegance and sophistication.
In 2025, the bow represents the spirit of birthday celebrations and the joy of making it another year around the sun. I’ve never been one to call trends, but maybe 2025 can be the year of the bow.
Do you have any birthday traditions?
